As of May 20th, 2025, the entrance to Bald Rock Heritage Preserve on Hwy 276 has been permanently closed. The new entrance to the preserve is located on 280 Persimmon Ridge Road, Cleveland, SC 29635. Across the gravel road from the parking lot is a trailhead for the 0.5 mile (one-way) trail to the rock. This location now requires a hike in. Please take this into consideration when selecting this location.
